I was looking at some of my old pics and came across some pics I took of one of the most interesting places I have visited. I didn't ride there so this isn't a ride report.

This was 1997 or 1998. This was my view approaching this interesting place.

My "ride" into this place.

We got a short tour of the rock. It was home to the only two monkey colonies in the wild in Europe.

Yes. It is probably the most unusual Airport I have ever flown into. The main road connecting Gibralter to Spain runs right across the runway. We also had to be very careful not to fly into Spanish airspace. Their air traffic controllers wouldn't talk to us. On that flight we picked up a mini sub and took it to Rota, Spain. Spain didn't allow flights between Gibralter and Spain so we had to fly to Portugal and do a touch and go to start a new flight plan to Spain.

Now there is a tunnel under the runway. I was disappointed.

2017 abandoned Russian missile camp. That was one strange place, all the concrete structures still remained including the frames of the houses and rails for moving the missiles. It was large area, we spent there around 3 hours and maybe didn’t cover it all. Located around 300kms from the border near Petroskoi.
