We arrived Friday and set up our outpost in the pasture.

We sat by the lantern and solved the world’s problems. Super boojie ham sandwiches with gray poupon mustard were eaten

Roll charts were assembled, multiple times. Sometimes we can’t count. Sometimes we try to begin at the end.

The woods were tight, sometimes. We were slow, all the time. We let the speedy riders go.

The fire station served really great food. The lunch that was included with tickets was one of the best I’ve had.

The trails were extremely tight at some points. My brother in law is a rookie and the it was too much for him. We bailed at lunch.

After we ate we rode some nearby parts of the SCAR. We decided we needed to give the SCAR a full attempt at some point.

All in all it was a fun weekend. Be prepared for legitimate enduro type single track if you sign up. Trees don’t move and a true beginner will be battered and bruised.
