- Week A few days in NC, TN, and VA

Back in June I went to Mountain View Motorcycle Campground in NC for a couple of days of DS riding. I recently went back but decided if 2 days and one bike was good then more days and 2 bikes would be better.

I set up camp then unloaded my bikes and rode up the hill at the top of the campground.

Then I went out for a short 60 mile ride.

I headed up Roan Mtn.

On Thursday I had beautiful weather and all day to ride and explore.

Next I rode to Damascus, VA because i wanted to explore the town and also to make it a three state ride. At the edge of Damascus I saw a sign for White Top Mtn so I thought it would be be cool to get some pics of on scooter there so that's what I did.

I headed back towards Damascus. 58 is an awesome road with lots of curves

I ran into some friends in Damascus.

We rode back through the Backbone Rock tunnel.

then back to Shady valley.

Then we took different routes back to MVMC.

The next days ride would be very different.

We headed out in a group of 10.

We did a mix of twisty pavement and dirt/gravel roads.

Anyone looking for a fixer upper?

Most of my pics on the go show pavement because its hard to take pics while riding off the pavement. We spent plenty of time off the pavement.
