BMW Airheads, Don't Hide Them, Ride Them !

Years ago, while searching for my first airhead, I came across an ebay listing for The Devil's Broomstick.
IIRC, it was an '82 R100.
Ring a bell with anyone??

Spoke wheels are a temporary thing while the snowflakes get powdercoated, bearings serviced, and new tires. That, and all the triple disc hydraulics.

Edgar the 100/7 went along with my son on it, in case I needed a ride back. His SV650 is not fit for a grown man to pillion on.
 
Here's a picture of a couple of my airheads. I've made a few changes to the bikes since the picture was taken. My 10 year old grandson likes the blue one. We have plans to take these two bikes on a cross country trip together once he gets his motorcycle license.
