The most involved custom paint job my father ever did was on a set of tanks and fenders for a naked Harley back in 1996, his last custom job at age 68. He documented the work for the owner, a good friend of his, over the course of more than a month with his VHS-C camera. A few years after he finished the job, the owner of the bike died of a brain tumor and left the painted parts to my father in his will. Here's the video of the paint work.
