Dash/helmet cams ?

I was hoping for some encouragement in choosing the Garmin Mini cam...

Probably anything is better than nothing but I'd like to get something that just plain works and is set & forget.

That looks like a nice and discrete setup.

Where would you mount that?

I would put it up by the rear view mirror. The PITA then becomes discretely running a power cord to it. Upon further review spending the extra $40 for the Garmin 47 gets you speed and location data for only a smidge more size.

Hadn't seen that before. Great idea but the price is a bit breathtaking.
