The store on Pike Street was good 40 years ago. It's been downhill since then. Their coffee tastes burned now, I won't drink it.

The one in Panorama City, Los Angeles, across from the Home Depot & In N Out.
Blue collar Starbucks serving people paid by the hour so they get you served fast. Plus the LAPD motorcycle division is across the parking lot so no panhandlers.

I go to the Starbucks where all the Jeep Gladiator guys hang out. We share speed bump stories over whatever Metrosexual lattes we can get our hands on.
A soccer mom popped in once and bragged that she once drove her Wrangler off of a curb. We were like, "no effing way!"

The only time that I've gone to Starbucks is when my teacher wife got gift cards from her students for Christmas and I used them to buy stuff at an airport while we were killing time before our flight.

I was sent to do a job in San Paulo Brazil for several months, in a sketchy part of town As an outsider who did not speak Portuguese, the office tradition was to escort all guests about 3 blocks to the Starbucks for a daily 10am coffee.
So every day one of the office ladies would take turns and walk with me to translate and to ensure I wasn't hassled by anyone. The place was known for petty crimes at that time unless you were with a local person.
On Day Number 4 or 5 the Starbucks staff started to write "Senior Gato" on my coffee cup and it stuck.
Turns out, Sr. Gato is a nick name for a playboy with many girlfriends. They thought since I was turning up with a different gal everyday for coffee, I was getting busy with them.
Flattering, since I was twice their age.
