Compared to the XT:
takes 12V power from your bike.
USB C
6" ultrabright display
Tread app to plan share etc.
Not sure if it has all the maps the Tread has.

The takes 12 volts from the bike would be biggest improvement for me since I use mine on several different bikes.

Would nice be nice if a firmware update would allow the Tread features to work on the existing XT, but I guess that wouldn't get people to pony up the cash to buy another GPS.
