GPX FSE300R DOHC

Non moto bike under an ex moto guy on a serious moto track.... neither of us belong out there. Came up short on a medium double with a short run a few times, another 5 or 15 HP woulda been the difference. Enough woods power = too little on a big open MX track but it was fun anyway. The big stuff I rolled I guess Id be rolling on any bike these days so zero shat eaten is a good ending to a nice 85f day.

Broke my kickstand rubber band. Many G forces were harshly exerted upon the Earth today in central Fla.

Cleared 70 hours on the FSE300R DOHC and I guess all the bouncing and slamming on the MX track this week finally got the better of a wire connector under the seat. Hard casing a jump I couldnt quite clear had the fuel pump cut out. And it was pretty repeatable, 4 out of five times I could kill the bike or have it sputter on that landing.

So, anyway, this green wire in a white box style connector feeds the pump, and it was loose by a lot. So, it got a crimped butt connection under heat shrink. I cant see taking it apart again but if I ever do it will get a nicer connector set. The male locking pin on the "box" had play and the male metal blade had almost no grip to the female side. Id guess that connector is on all the Delphi injected GPX models.

No billit parts, military, aviation, kitchen grade or otherwise were damaged in the enduro loop we ripped up!

Crossed 90 hours banging the rev limiter like it owed me money. Sand motos these days hurt me more than the bike. Still, it aint fast but it gets it done where the older FSE SOHC bike kinda meh, I really didnt like to put more than a lap of that abuse on her, just lacked the top end beans.

I even did a slew of MX start drills WFO second gear, the bike doent care. Clutch adjusted a few clicks on the ARC AOF perch when fully hot like all my NC engines liked.

Checked the notes, one kick stand rubber band replaced by a KTM unit, and now its rear tire time. Oh the excessive maintenances!

Yawn.

My 300RR got a Henner Motorsports advanced timing key..... copy n pasties time....

So the Henner Motorsports + timing key. Im expecting a tad of snap.

Holy Baloney!

I can lug down to almost stopping the piston and it YANKS away. Mid range is like it was hit by lightening. Top end feels the same to me but damn we hit the limiter harder and faster now.

$24. Biggest bang for the buck I've ever tried. It made more of everything gooder. Still running 87 pump gas too. Damn this thing was detuned stock!

Oh and the new Tusk soft terrain is another winner too. On a side note, halving it apart anyway, at 92 hours the guts in the rim look fine. No rust, no tears in the rubber band, I didn't even duck tape it. Im sure I didnt need the MotioPro rim lock but summ habits are heard to brake!

Wait, don't u need the $300 piggyback computer:imaposer
Ive got a reflast from Ryan Cadotte on fb but I dont think it was necessary. Mines just got the idle bumped up, which the key raised another 200 RPM which is perfect.

Looks like you're really gelling with the mighty three hundred. Nice that you can bump the power for such a small amount of money. No $800 Vortex nonsense. Sweet
