Honda CT125 or Trail 125 thread

The first day of riding my wife did on her CT125. We three, wife grandson and I, rode about 40 miles on the farm and county dirt roads. My grandson is stoked that Grammy is back riding again.

2022 CT125 Installed a 13tooth 428 pitch front chain and x-ring DID chain. The two sprockets shown were on Amazon and both fit perfectly. The JTF273.13 is the most commonly recommended front sprocket but it’s impossible to find. Changed the oil as well at 150 miles. Clean with no metal noted. ABS began flashing at about 3.5 miles into test ride. Lots of people say they have that issue after they changed sprocket, some people say they didn’t. Sharpie pen fixed the visible blinking light

You can but Motocross Action says go up one tooth on the rear.

It is available elsewhere...either too many left over 2022 or the new engine needs recertification is my guess.

I don't think the engine would have to be re-certified as it is available in the 2022/23 Super Cub.
