Not sure. It could be the US market isn't ideal for the product. I thought the trail 125 was popular and rare but I located 3 not far for me...closest dealer is 65 miles. Dealer markup might have hurt sales.

I think inventory has caught up with demand. Some people probably moved on too.
Honda should be announcing the 2023 Trail soon and yes it will have the engine from the Super Cub/ GROM.

The engine family shows a completely different number than the one for the 2023 Trail. So here you go: 2023 Trail will have the updated engine.

hope it's green for you. 1 color is a real sales blunder.
Maybe I will buy a 2023. I don't care what color it is although a Honda should be red.
Good and bad news. Honda Canada is now selling the Trail 125. Good news is that it's got the updates engine from the GROM/ Super Cub. Bad news is that it comes in red. Nothing really wrong with red but it would be nice to see a different color. As reported above, the rear rack is now black.

I put a deposit down on one the day that Honda Canada announced that they were coming here. The first one that comes in at Toy's in Moncton is mine. It's looking like late April delivery. I have been patiently waiting for this since the modern CT was introduced in 2020, so I guess I don't mind a couple more months.
All ready owning a '77 CT90, I'm looking foreword to 12 volt electrics, LED lighting, disc brakes, and the extra 3 hp!
