The bike was unveiled in Europe for 2022. We were left out. Bummer. Now Honda Mexico has unveiled the NT1100 in Guadalajara today. Does it mean we could see the NT1100 as a 2023 model in the US?

I don't need that much bike for the kind of riding we do, but I think that would be a successful model here. This would be a good sport touring bike, something Honda doesn't currently have in their US lineup.

Africa Twin engine? Headpipes up front make me think V4, maybe.

I like the Triumph Sport 660, but Triumph doesn't seem that bike with a bigger (100+hp ) engine. I love 270° twins. This definitely is something I'd be interested in with the AT engine. V4 is cool, but might end up packing on more weight than I'd like.

Googled it. AT engine. 525lbs manual, 545lbs DCT. She's a big girl.

According to what I read on Honda's site, it is a parallel twin - same engine as the Africa Twin and Rebel 1100. Should be a good engine for that platform.

Considering the equipment on the NT1100 I think the weight is reasonable, perfect for a street machine. 100hp and is perfect. Not sure if folks know but the 65hp NT700V weighs quite a bit more than the NT1100 but gets down the road just fine.

It's reasonable, for sure. NT1100 is 100hp and 525 lbs. FJ09 has another 20hp and 60-70lbs lighter. Without digging deeper in to features, that's a bit of a tough sell.

The Honda is a pipe dream and that Yamaha is kinda pricey for what you get and is missing a cylinder. For my money I’d get something that’s gonna hit if I miss AND is available right now.

Looks like a nice price. Out here, they have a few hundred miles on them and priced like new.

That particular dealer has been around a long time, family owned and they don’t do the greedy mark up thing. A real rarity in the Los Angeles area. They have the new naked GSXS1000 for 9999.00 as well.

Nothing wrong with a good-running four cylinder engine. I've had several and considering another. California is sounding good for a fly and ride.

While I really like the engine in my AT, not sure I want another one.
