I need a bw200 gas cap

I've got this old unit, that purrs like a walrus now that I've gone through the carb, and glued totally the wrong (but not rotten) muffler on it. The old tank was cracked to shit, so I bought a new one, allegedly the same model and year....gas cap doesn't fit. I know the history of this bike since Yamaha Canada let go of it, so I know it was dead stock. I think an Amazon special 51-54mm cap will work, anyone want to confirm or deny?

Yesterday I discovered that I was on some kind of high zoom adhesives when I posted this. It doesn't thread on right. I've got to track down the correct cap.
