National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa closing this year

The National Motorcycle Museum in Anamosa has announced it will be closing in September after struggling with finances for the past several years, according to Jill Parham, chair of the board of directors of the museum.

That is a real shame for sure.. I hope that other museums will receive some of the memorabilia and bikes..

Some of the collection not on loan will be auctioned off, I believe.

I just have to wonder why in Iowa? IMHO there would have been more visitors in a more central location in the country....
