Tape and paper removed, looks pretty good.





Engine covers removed for paint. The engine looks spotless for a 90K mile bike, typical of these old Ks.

More reassembly:

Painted covers with new seals, new clutch cable, reworked foot pegs, installed the airbox and new radiator hoses.

The triple, K75, is way smoother then the K100 four. They all last forever.

Thanks, of course when the bolts are tight it will cinch down. The fender will be body color, and the straps black. I'm not sure about the acorn nuts, but it is growing on me.

Or (short) carriage bolts painted black with the nuts under the fender?

There is room for it, and I definitely am considering it.

Virtually no time to work on the bike due to work travel, but a bit more mock-up done.
