Thanks, of course when the bolts are tight it will cinch down. The fender will be body color, and the straps black. I'm not sure about the acorn nuts, but it is growing on me.

Or (short) carriage bolts painted black with the nuts under the fender?

Virtually no time to work on the bike due to work travel, but a bit more mock-up done.

Changed direction on the fender. I didn't like the straps, so I filled the holes and made brackets to mount the fender under the mounts.
Finished up the headlight/fairing mount:
Added a stabilizer bracket to the instrument cluster:
Removed the front wheel for paint:

Awesome its getting there now loving it. And incidentally thank you very much for root beer, its the pending wheel colour for my new and blue daily and waterfowl dog carrier beater wagon " Vauxhall astra J 2013 1.3 cdti thanks.

A little more progress. Trim on the edges, screen on, seat assembled, valves in the rims.
Today I wire all the lights and finish the hoses.

Wired up the rear lights and installed the inner fender, then the tail light. It is all surprisingly bright.

Finally off the lift and back on wheels, (what a pain that was doing alone). Mostly mock assembly. Still a lot to do.
It looks Sharp !!

A few minor things done. Also finally got the lower radiator hose through the hole in the crank case cover, PITA!
Had to reuse the left side upper radiator hose, the replacement was too short.
Added the new SS brake lines. Not happy with the front, too tight. This is full extension and has a bit of slack, but not as much as I would prefer.
The rear wasn't much better, but will do. These were for a K75C according to the seller, so should have been a better fit.
Much more to go.

Dug it out of the shop and took it for a short ride. Everything works and it rides fine.
A couple of glamor shots then put it away with the others until I get the mirrors and new ignition switch.

Added adjustable mirrors and a new ignition switch. Now ready to ride a bit.
