Who has one that they like? I see Harbor Freight has a couple options. Top Sider also seems popular. Reading reviews on Amazon, lots of good stories with a good number of bad mixed in. What do you have and what works?

I have a Pela 6000 that I'm pretty sure shit the bed on my final TDI oil change. It was a PITA to use because it took two hands to pump and always felt precariously perched in the engine bay. If it is really broke, it lasted 2 years.

My family had a Mityvac 7400? at our cabins for maybe a decade that we used to drain the toilets for winterizing. That thing worked great. One foot on the hold down pedal, one hand to pump, one hand to guide the hose.

Mityvac seems like a good option. Is the air compressor powered model worth it? Manual might be the way to go, for ease of portability.

I haven't used the air powered one so I can't say. The manual one will suck for like 5 seconds after you pump it a few times so you don't have to constantly pump for the duration of an oil change.
