NICE!My Aprilia Dorsoduro 750 has been a lot of fun, and very reliable (a pleasant surprise). I adventurized it a bit, but it can still be lean and mean for track days. It helps having a second set of wheels. I found a set from a Shiver (similar bike) on eBay for a great price. Painted them gold, and mounted track rubber.

Yup. Off pavement, my wife leaves me in the dust on her DR350. I'm thinking of getting a KTM 500 or CRF450 with 2 sets of wheels. I'm tempted to look for an Aprilia SVX 550, but I'm not keen on the intensive maintenance.NICE!
I could never get adjusted to the 180 section rear tire when off pavement on my dorso and then I traded it for a 950se, problem solved.
What was crazy is riding the dorso back to back with the se on the street, they were nearly identical!Yup. Off pavement, my wife leaves me in the dust on her DR350. Possibly. Mine actually has a 6 inch wheel. What was crazy is riding the dorso back to back with the se on the street, they were nearly identical!
Perhaps a narrower than the 5.5 rim would help the dorso off pavement?
I miss the Aprilia Futura, don't miss the expensive rear tire changes!

Probably my riding style and the torque! As in it went through rear tires fast?
