a long term care insurance policy? sounds like that is not a bad idea.
Anyone here ever do a cost benefit analysis on such a plan ?
Those policies are super expensive unless you start paying premiums when you are young. I read that if you can set aside 2-300k, that's about what it costs to cover nursing home as long as most people need one. My Mom passed almost 10yrs ago, at that time BFE MO nursing home was 3k month, 5-6k near metro KC. :dunno
