I picked up this one last year at a garage sale. It's pretty complete but needs a LOT of attention. If it wasn't for the fact that its a 72 it would probably just be a parts bike. It's currently residing in the "I'll get to it one of these days" section of my garage.:lol3

If I could find a first year XL250 clean and cheap, I'd scoop it up too. Most likely will never happen.

'56 Matchless G85CS 500cc Rickman Metisse. I built with a frame kit from the UK and motor built by Matt at Speed and Sport in Meadow Vista, CA. Collected other bits to complete the build; Rickman Zundapp 125 front and Rickman Montesa 250 rear wheels. Alloy rims stainless spokes. NJB shocks, Betor forks, ARD electronic ignition, new Amal concentric, short-rodded hi-comp motor courtesy of Matt. Prefers race gas.
