Sport Touring Rigs

My Sport Tourer. It classifies as "Sport" if you ride like a maniac....

It is Sport compared to my 2012 Wing

Not long after I bought it ... ~12K miles logged by the two previous owners. It was pristine. Now it's coming up on 55K. It was knocked over twice within the first month of ownership (thank you NYC). It still looks pretty good ... 10 feet out. :-)

Had an 08 C14. Too heavy, too hot. That was the fastest, smoothest bike I've owned ( for six months).
This works better for me

I think this might qualify - 80some VF700S Sabre. Early shaft drive. Wonderful when it ran

And for a brief time I threw some 17's on this and rode it as a sport tourer

This Tiger 1050 qualifies a bit better. Buddy's r6 in the back also went on a few tours

I liked the 1050 so much I got another one after wrecking the first

Started doing more 2-up and, really getting spoiled with the amenities on the more touring-oriented bike

Different bikes obviously feel very different, but I think you can sport tour anything with the right tires on it. Doesn't take much for a hotel trip.

'88 K75S, my 2nd K-bike. First was an '85 K100RT, other than the fairing beating the snot out of my knees it was a good bike. The K75S is a bit small for me but at least my knees aren't abused. 88K75s.jpeg
