2006 GSX-F. Outstanding bike. Ohlins front and rear. Rides like its on a rail. Seat is only good for 2h or so thought. I think its the lack of a bench-like seat on my DR where on the DR I can slide back and forth altering positions. The GSX I'm sort of stuck in the one position.

Love the bike though.

Lots of good looking bikes here. I'll a couple of mine. I sold the ST3s a couple of summers ago to make room for the Multistrada. Both are excellent long distance bikes. I did a couple of Saddle Sore 1000s on the ST. Hoping to do the same on the Multi.

Thats 2 of the 3 Honda ST1100s that I have owned...I just sold the last one (2nd pic) a couple weeks ago..Retired from Sport Touring LD riding...Looking for a Maxi Scooter...Prolly a Honda Silverwing....

Anyone think a "bench" style seat would work on a sports tourer? I have a SeatConcepts on my DR650 and its awesome. I can slide back and forth on it altering my position on longer rides. The GSX has a Saddleman seat and, ... its ok, but after two hours I'm done for. I was thinking carving something up myself.

Not sure about a "bench" style seat but my experience with saddleman is similar..after 2 hours i cant wwait to get off the bike..I had one on my 2001 Honda ST1100 and i hated it..I ddiscovered Russell Day Long saddles and for me that solved all my discomforts..I could truly ride all day long...Good luck finding what works for you...

I had Corbin make a custom seat for my R1100S. Had them build it up about three inches in an effort to increase the painfully tight seat-to-peg distance on that bike. Long story short, the seat ended up with a long flat area from the passenger seat all the way to the tank. It makes all-day riding SO much better because yeah, you can shift your weight around when you start getting sore.
