Finally getting close on completing the project bike. I had hoped to be finished by the time spring arrived here but I kept finding more problems to fix, of course being that I live in the middle of nowhere parts take forever to arrive….

Looks clean. Is this the one with the recently rebuilt engine?

Yes, new pistons and the bores measure good. Fired it up today with new diaphragms and it sounds good. Have some bigger pilots on the way as I can tell its lean on the bottom with the new pipe. Just waiting for a headlight assembly to arrive then I can finish fabrication on the fairing mounts. There is still a bunch of paint work to do but that might have to wait.

2023 Honda Transalp 750 Imminent

Honda revealed its brand-new CB750 Hornet at the Intermot show, and we suspect its revised Transalp 750 will be unveiled at EICMA.

With the Transalp patent drawing above superimposed over the new Hornet.

This makes business sense for Honda. Set the hook with the 300, and keep them in the brand as they move up. They were seriously lacking in the 3/4L category. It’s nice to see them finally get in the game.
