The true fate of "adv" riding

4 wheel overlanding is becoming very popular these days. It might even be the new adv riding.
I know lots of the old crew, who are now into jeeps more than riding.

It's a natural progression, but it makes riding bikes look cheap. As bad as 4WD truck and SUV pricing is, I'm more surprised by the number of people dropping $30k or more for a SxS, trailer, and tow vehicle.

That is 100k rig. I would like those trailer customers.. My rv falt tow customers ...some motorhomes were 1.5 million and the jeep 70k

No doubt. I meant +$30k just for the SxS. Too much for too little for me.

We used to say that at the shop. I said a bike and hotel rooms was all the luxury I could ask for. Wranglers were my most popular install. The sxs and atv scene is nuts. There are a few atv in town that might be 20k. With giant rut cutting tires. Some crazy vtwin stuff. They have ruined every local trail.

Not for me, no interest in any 4 wheel pursuits. Agreed the whole sxs craze is ruining the environment even worse than the quads did.
