My first Triumph...maybe a 2005 Speed4. Great bike.

2nd Triumph. 2010? Bonneville. This is the bike I should have kept forever. Just a fun motorcycle.

3rd. Picked up this 2014? Tiger 800xc. I loved that Tiger, except for the 35mph front wheel bounce.

Traded in the 2014 Tiger for this 2018 XRT. This bike was fantastic looking...but cursed. I hit more birds and deer than I could count. It made me give up street bikes for a couple of years after I sold it.

It's Spring Break for me (teacher) so I'm taking the opportunity to spend a night out of town. I made my way to Nyack via Jersey back roads and stumbled upon this independent bike mechanic. We chatted for a minute - nice guy who's been in business a few decades. Looking at my Triumph, he told me doesn't work on 'foreign' bikes, only Japanese. Of course I ribbed him a little about that. 😸

i kinda missed my street bikes...so i picked this up a few days ago. reasonably priced little triple that i can throw on the hitch carrier and tote it around to to wherever. it was tough to pass on a new street triple, but i would have wadded it up this summer acting a hooligan.

Wow, what a great color combination! The bike's nice too. :thumbup

That reminds me ... F*%k Putler!
