Da' UP, eh!? (Upper Michigan)
This will be the thread were all of us Yoopers can hang out.

Pretty sure, it'll be a quiet and lonely place. :(

Some pictures from past years to get things started.

A nice fall ride.

This track is now called "Broken Mirror". You'll note my mirror is missing. Took it out with me knee as I went over the handle bars! :muutt

Me and a buddy are going to see how much of the UPAT we can knock out this May (weather pending). Should be fun on the big bikes. :ricky Hoping to get in 2-3 trips before August. I'll probably sneak in a couple hooky rides to Bass Lake as well.

Bass Lake was no joke. Is that where the last picture is from?

I actually grew up in St. Helen. Since I left, my parents have moved to Higgins Lake. I still visit Higgins every summer.

Last pic was from up in Marquette area. Middle pic was Bass Lake May of 2020. The trail was in rough shape at that point. We rode only part of it that day, then a few days later rode the whole loop before heading home. Well.....my buddy skipped out a few miles in. He was sick of being smashed in the face by downed trees. :lol3

May 2021 was in primo shape. Even better now that they put in the one wooden bridges in the swampy spots. :ricky

Wild to think the first time I rode this was in 2009 on my BMW G650X. It's changed, but one of my favorite loops to ride.

Is that your video? Watching it brought back memories and gave me a little retroactive adrenalin rush.

Hello from Wisconsin. See you this summer. My family lives on the Dead River near Ishpeming. Lots of fun in the basin

A nice fall ride.

When did you fall? I want pics.

And where is the guy that drives propane trucks into Ontario during the winter? I like his posts.

Why is there green shit in that "pasty"?

Wait a minute...that looks like the UP...it's my brothers...but I guess it's the Superior National Forest. Why do the trees and motorcycles look the same as in the UP?

The other picture there, it looks like taconite. What? There's taconite in the UP? I thought taconite came from the Range.
