I did the main bearings and crank seals a while back and put the Mikuni on it, it runs like a champ but that left side brake catches me out at least once EVERY time I ride it….I've got a similar. I've redone the motor, tank, forks, and frame. But it sits. I'm too lazy to paint the fiberglass.
Don’t screw around, get to it,we will be doing a vintage event this year just as in years past. Vintage Cup rules with maybe a additional line for easy ride through guys.I've got a similar. I've redone the motor, tank, forks, and frame. But it sits. I'm too lazy to paint the fiberglass.
With MWVTAs event happening, I had to get Trials on the brain. Drug out a buddy's TLM out of it's hole for the first time since January, and that junk fired up on the first kick -
Went on to fire up the "Works" Fantic. That junk fired up on the first kick as well. Then the rear brakes locked up on the short testride.
Shortened the pushrod 3/4 turn, and it was happier. I really want to like this bike, but it's been cantankerous since it arrived. Maybe a new sticker on it's new fender will calm it down a tad.
My beloved 315R I never worry about. It just works.
Went on to tag all three bikes with everyone's favorite team's stickers!
Now where did I put my TY80?
I've got a M49 that i bought several years ago. I need to get it out of the attic and get on it.There’s the poor old Bul sitting in the shed….been two years since its had any fuel through it.
How about a bike ya’ll have never seen before?!
Finally finished the JCM yesterday.
Needs some tweaking but it’s in one piece again.
Bought this two years ago in buckets. No parts anywhere. No manuals ever made. Just tinkered on it when I had time. Had to make a few custom parts, and find others from similar era bikes that I could make work.
Rides pretty well. I think I might keep it.
Not sure which would be the rarer bike these days!Last time I saw one of those, it was parked next to an Alpha!
