With MWVTAs event happening, I had to get Trials on the brain. Drug out a buddy's TLM out of it's hole for the first time since January, and that junk fired up on the first kick -

Went on to fire up the "Works" Fantic. That junk fired up on the first kick as well. Then the rear brakes locked up on the short testride. :fpalm

Shortened the pushrod 3/4 turn, and it was happier. I really want to like this bike, but it's been cantankerous since it arrived. Maybe a new sticker on it's new fender will calm it down a tad. :lol3

My beloved 315R I never worry about. It just works. :thumb

I've got a M49 that i bought several years ago. I need to get it out of the attic and get on it.

I used to ride my M158 in MAVT events and when I moved to AL from MD in 2004, I started riding ITSA, AHRMA, and STRA events.

Had a blast at the Mountain West Vintage Trials Association season opener at San Ysidro, New Mexico this past weekend. Unfortunately my digital camera packed it in on Friday (damn junk ought to last more than 13 years...) so you get some crummy cell phone pics of The League pits and the scores. Time to go to that jungle website...

How about a bike ya’ll have never seen before?!

Finally finished the JCM yesterday.
Needs some tweaking but it’s in one piece again.

Bought this two years ago in buckets. No parts anywhere. No manuals ever made. Just tinkered on it when I had time. Had to make a few custom parts, and find others from similar era bikes that I could make work.

Rides pretty well. I think I might keep it.

Not sure which would be the rarer bike these days! :lol3

From what I know this is the only 303 in North America. I know there are a few 323’s floating around, and at least one 240.

Some bikes are rare because they were special and expensive. Others were rare because they just weren’t all that good.
Pretty sure this falls into the latter group! :imaposer
