What's new

What did you do to your 1X90 today?

That’s a cool little USB port, does the hatch close? I’ve never seen one that doesn’t ride higher, are they everywhere or is this one special? Do tell!!
I had to modify a little. I used a sanding disk on a dremel to open the hole a little as the new was a few thousandths bigger I then shaved down the lid as it had a piece sticking down into the old socket that interfered so I removed that. Now until you lift the factory cover you can’t tell anything is different. Also had to make a new adapter harness for the wiring but that was just a simple 4” of wire and some blade connectors to go from the old harness to the new plug.

Got my swing sprocket carrier assembly done. 42 for the street and 45 for the dirt. 10 minute swap now.

Front wheel bearings replaced by an awesome guy in Aguascalientes. Fixed a nasty wobble on steering input after I smashed into something on the road.

He also swapped out the spark plugs which fixed an idle issue...after we spent a day trying to find spark plugs.

Wired in a 5 plole relay for my fans. Now they work on auto and manual. Cleaned up my Power Cell pods and changed my fuel filter. Winter projects are over! Ready to Race!

Note to myself, after winter storage remember to attach BOTH earth wires before ordering new R/R or buying new battery. Another one of those likes to hide behind subframe. Beside low voltage funny symptom is also that bike burns headlight few minutes after power has been turned off.

Well the tube died, probably because the hole for the valve stem is offset and I probably didn't secure it properly.

But the local shop slapped on a new valve stem that seems to be holding. It set me back 60 pesos. I wish a new wheel was 1300 pesos.
You can send a Mexican mechanic to the Moon and he will fix a Moon Lander.

1290 finally got oiler. Installed OSCO and filled it with special industrial Orapi nano lubricant. Salesman told what ever You do, do not use this on wheel bolts on any vehicle. They’ll just fly away! 😂
