I put in a new clutch cover gasket. I installed a full clutch with the basket a couple months back and forgot to order the gasket! The old one held for a bit but it should be leak proof now!

I just went tubed in the front as well, it was a good ride, but I think this is for the best.

Yep I already have a tubed front following a bent rim. Figured I'd ride out the rear until I did something stupid, and here we are!

Any recommendations for a complete wheel? Leaning toward Warp 9 this time.

Kinda makes you wonder how the new Alpina Tubeless set up will work with the new bikes. Id think they’d be a direct fit. Certainly not less expensive though.

$913 usd isn't bad for a complete rear shipped from Alpina. The equivlent Woody's is $1300. What's the deal with Alpina though? I haven't been able to find much about wheels for the 1290 in general.

Warp 9 makes their own rims, which I misunderstood. Some old (2008-2010) reviews were a bit critical of them, but modern opinions are scarce.

Set of Power Parts wheels without rotors and abs-rings would be around 1200€. They should be tougher than original.

Well the tube died, probably because the hole for the valve stem is offset and I probably didn't secure it properly.

But the local shop slapped on a new valve stem that seems to be holding. It set me back 60 pesos. I wish a new wheel was 1300 pesos.

Old boot laces keep the inner hub clean. The only clean place on the whole bike! Haha

Just walked by the other day.. been playing with the idea to list it. Now it would be good time for it 🤔

That’s a cool little USB port, does the hatch close? I’ve never seen one that doesn’t ride higher, are they everywhere or is this one special? Do tell!!
