It looks like you kept the 19 inch front wheel instead of going with the 21. Looks good. Woody Wheels best around.

Your going to make a lot of “new friends” with those machines!
1st thing I did was check his location! :-)

I would expect you to love the Dunlops. Most of the guys I ride with have switched over. One is burning up the last of his Heidenau tires and will be switching over to Dunlop
Of course "burning up" a Heidi takes awhile but I think I'll do the changeover in the next month or so.

Today a stared longlingly at my GSA. It's raining here. Probably one of the two days it'll rain this year. Sigh.

Oh well. Sunny and warm all next week.

I bolted up an AliExpress tool box under the left rear rack, y'all know what it looks like so not pics but it was amusing that the instructions were a Xerox of Touratech's!

Ya. If ya want the 'printed' TouraTax instructions it'll cost ya another $180. :-)
I've got that same box. I think I paid $40. Even that's a little high, but it does the job.

Thinking of switching from my usual Heidenau to these - thoughts?

Both good tires but in my experience spending most of my time riding straight roads in central Oklahoma the Trail Max does not square off nearly as bad as the Heidenau's did.
And I think the Trail Max offers better traction in off road conditions.

Getting ready to sell my R1200GS so I spent the day pulling off Mods and transferring them too my new R1250GSA. Sad day really, I've spent some quality time with the R1200. I got the bike while living in Germany and had a blast running to all points on the compass!

Also my first post on advbikes. JVB turned me onto the site!

Well, this afternoon I attempted to install some light protection on the aux lighting that comes standard on a GSA. Chineesium crap. I'll need to take a Dremel tool to them to make 'em fit. I'm talking about this crap:
I bought the over priced Touratech guards in an attempt to JB weld a yellow lens to it for my OEM aux lights. It didn’t end up working so I used the yellow lamin-x wrap cut to fit bit it ended up curling at the edges and got really dirty. I bought the same covers you just bought and dremeled the lens to fit the TT covers and mounted them with the hardware from the chinesium mount. Best solution yet.
