There used to be a site called dual sport maps.com, it is gone too, looks like they did not renew and some spammer took the page.
Yeah, that was a real shame that Dualsportmaps.com didn't stick around. It was really well done, esp with the app.
His handle was craftycoder might be able to track him down from this old thread.
