What's new

Your bike by an Elevation Sign.

LOL, I never noticed that. And that is an official National Parks Service sign. Somebody hit the multiply key on their calculator when they meant to hit divide.
Yeah I thought it looked a bit strange, what's the correct depth?
Is it supposed to be 282 feet/86 metres?

Rental bike.

I've been by there on highway 89, but have never actually gone up to the summit of Leviathon. I was in the campervan pulling a trailer, and the 8300 ft. pass on highway 99 was enough...

Did you go up to the lookout on the summit, or just over the pass?

:ricky

Just over the pass. During the covid lockdown I decided it would be the ultimate opportunity to ride all the Sierra passes. I wasn't wrong. No one on the highways...it was as if the roads were built for me.
