Post pics and details of your unique or cool automobile.

I'll start by sharing my 1966 Chevrolet K20. It still has the original 292 with the SM420 and Rockwell T221 transfer case with 57k miles. This old truck has been in the family since 1985 except for a few years when it was sold to a family friend. I was able to buy the truck back from his estate.

My 1957 1-ton panel van with the Stovebolt 235. My dad bought it for me when I was 10 with the intent of it being my first truck. I just turned 32 today and haven't driven it once. There have been a couple frame/engine swap plans over the years but this winter I have started putting it back to stock. There are enough SBC/LS swaps around. The world needs one more original truck and if I get into a tight spot, a complete truck will sell easier than a half baked project.

That said it might get a Holley Sniper and HEI.

I sell aftermarket truck and offroad parts on irate4x4 from nearly 400 manufactures, premium members there get a premium discount. I havent really marketed that her but as an ADV+ member I'd extend the same discounts. Shoot me a PM when you're ready and I'll get you some pricing :beer

Now for my toy ....

I’ve got a 1955 Unimog 404.111, they only made 1,500 of these smaller versions and they were specifically used as airport tugs. Previous owner cut part of the cab off and made it a 4 seater. I got a new full cab I’ll be swapping onto it this summer. These pics were from the King of the Hammers races last year.

A few I had.

I've got a Sky Redline, super fun little car but I had to replace the water pump and (aside from that being a pain in the ass), bleeding the cooling system has proven to be nearly impossible.

My offroad rig, there's a 1993 2-door Ford Explorer frame under there but the rest of the tube work & fab was all me. Motor is a 1994 Taurus SHO V6 (which shares some valvetrain components with some Yamaha bike motors, found that out when I was messing with the valve shim buckets while rebuilding it), mated to a NSG370 6-speed manual trans out of a 2006 Jeep Rubicon, using an adapter plate I machined.

Out at Moab UT, put several hundred miles on it that trip. We did the White Rim trail start to finish in a day.

Just two weeks prior to that, when the sheet metal and paint were fresh :(

Nice! My Sky Redline was perfect for the 6 years I owned it. I loved that car. I only sold it for lack of storage space and my knees were getting tired of getting in and out of such a low car.

This is not as fast, but much more comfortable for my aging knees.

Gone now, but my 2018 Camaro SS 1LE. Amazing car, really miss it but pandemic pricing meant I got slightly more than I paid for it new after 3 years of ownership. Also just couldn't justify having it sit in the garage all winter.

Current daily driver, 2010 Xterra. Bought it in 2013 with about 86,000 miles, currently at around 220,000. Has never left me stranded, but getting a bit worn out. Have a 2022 Colorado ZR2 diesel on order as a replacement.

My 2000 XJ. I spent a year and a half rebuilding, replacing, repainting and reworking near everything on and in it. I got reaaaalll over it and sold it a month after I finished it.

Nice looking XJ. Were the rockers replaced with integrated sliders?

I have a MJ project that is now 11 YEARS in the making... I'll finish it, someday :rolleyes

Good looking MJ. I lived by the moto “a little makes a lot” which gave me the energy to go out and do a little at a time. Which, sometimes turned into quite a bit on some weekends. Just keep nibbling away!

Yes I replaced the rusted rockers with 2x6 steel sliders wheel to wheel when I replaced the floor panels and rear quarters.

I looked at this '66 GMC half ton today. I've been looking for an old truck and prices are insane but this one is reasonable although a bit crustier than I'd like.:hmmmmm

Replying to my self here just to say that things didn't work out with the owner of the red truck. But I think that it may have been for the best because I just shook hands and agreed to buy this one:
