I love it. I've had it for at least ten years and probably over 10,000 miles without incident.

The only negative is that you need different one for each bike.

So what was the issue? I have a 2008, so I'd like to know.

It's complicated and probably easier to just post what the tech wrote on my bill.

Scotch locks are garbage. I can't remember how many I have removed that have caused issues.

Positaps are the only ones I use when I tap into a harness.
