Magnet came lose in the starter on my '98 r1100gs today. My question , flea bay , or a better one ( more expensive anyway) from Beemer Bone Yard ?

Repair parts and replacement starters are available at Euromotoelectrics.
Ebay also carries chinesium knockoffs which do work but repair parts are not available.

I would repair and freshen up the original Valeo starter.
I ordered parts to repair the old one , and ordered a new one ,$49, from flea bay

Yesterday got the magnet housing in from Euromotoelectrics. Put the starter back together , installed it on the bike, started up working good.
Still waiting on the flea bay starter.
