A bit long delay but the shim feels solid without soft center. Reason for grinding was that I was a bit in a hurry and lazy to visit any store. I would do it only once per shim. And don`t recommend for anyone whole prosedure.

Nice winter ride today at the lake and logging roads, since i dont have sledge SE will have to do

1290 turn signals on SE. Fits 1:1 on original places, the connectors and relay ofcourse need to change.

If you buy the replacement led indicator upgrade kits from KTM they have the correct connectors and built in resistors in the wiring so no need to swap the flasher unit, did it last year on my 1090 Adventure and in the UK the kit was only £75

If I recall the connectors need to change any way, 1090, 1190, 1290 etc have newer one piece connector and these old beasts teo separated connectors.
