My first maintenance charger was an Optimate 3. The desulphate cycle has saved some batteries for me, so I've stuck with it. At one point we had two motos and two scooters, so even though they get used often, I always plugged in on return to the garage. Since covid, our riding dropped off and my wife sold her moto, so it's been good to keep up the batteries. Obviously my needs aren't the same as everyone else's.
