WHY?

Another WHY?
If we are hell bent on EVs and if we indeed genuinely care about the world we live in and assuming this whole ev deal is indeed anything more than some perverse folk with big money having a worldwide pissing contest to show the little poor bloke just how poor he is. Why are we having BIG all the bells and whistles luxury evs? If we really genuinely care about the planet wouldnt we be making small simple low carbon footprint evs with few frills and at an affordable price, and much shorter range after all we all have these bicycles we see planned into every road development these days.
Smal basic and light need less power pack to get the basic minimum acchieved that is draging people about ie horseless carrage style, hell we are motorcyclists we know it works just fine.
Its one thing going ev its anoyher affording it and at what cost to the environment which after all is what this whole nightmare is about right?

Battery:lol2 20K but hey we generally repair them only 5k and its done 200k miles , they can leak colant on the motors at 2k but....NO just No. :lol2

It's kinda like what Nike is doing with recent talks about microplastics.

In order to show "how committed" they are to reducing plastic waste, they now produce an extra plastic container to put the plastic bits in, then they ship it to you. There's a whole extra plastic product being produced, on new machines, on new assembly lines, burning newly produced energy...the plastic waste still exist...it's just wastefully repackaged and sent to you to deal with. Now, you and I can smell this marketing bullshit a mile away, but when they post this on Twitter a large percentage of the masses will adore them and applaud them for such a brave, green move.

You're Nike. You've not started recycling your plastic waste yet? After all these decades you still got piles of plastic crumbs that you haven't figured out what to do with yet?

It's green washing marketing and nothing else.

I get that, and consider the presence in massive quantities of degrading plastic particulate matter at least as harmful to our world as dirty coal roller bro dozers ever are.
So open up those 6BT pumps let the fuel in to do its job. :lol2

Agreed, even their leathers are heavily plastic coated to provide a "flawless" look rather than showing the natural hides. A well cared for pair of leather boots or shoes that lasts many years is significantly more eco-friendly than the current crop of high tech show materials.
