The stair case root and other rough scenarios are my biggest brainstorms on perfect solo adv bikes. I would feel good riding that on a strom 1000. And wonder why I did it.
Here's the Evart Motorcyle Trail in Evart MI In June 2022.
It's one of the more difficult loops in the lower peninsula. It's supposed to be about a 22 mile loop; I got frustratingly lost and covered 30.5 miles. This place kicked my ass. Unless you stop there's no place while riding where you can relax a little. It's narrow and there's a lot of "trail trash" (rocks, sticks, roots) to dodge.
There was a lot of dead fall.
This was really the toughest part. There were no "go arounds" here so it was either make it up or turn back.
Something felt and sounded weird. This explains it:
Loose sand and big rocks. Unlike any trail I've seen anywhere else in MI.
I'm glad I rode it but I won't be rushing back anytime soon!
My 09 XR650L in Indian Mountain ATV Park. A bit further down it turned into a 2 Black Diamond trail and was pretty challenging. Kept the rubber bits down and the shiney bits up though!
