The Security thread.

Lets reverse tech a little, and look at old school.
The Fact is the old door plank droped in some sturdy stays bolted to the double doors of a workshop might be mideval in tech but its simple adds strength and needs acctual entry to remove, this sort of brute force attitude to security is old could be classed as ugly or cumbersome but it works.
Same with asps staples and pad locks, ok old school but kget good heavy asps and staples and a closed shackle padlock and box the lock in with some 3/8th steel plate and it takes some smashing off and makes noise doing it too.
On like a typical outward opening workshop door or double doors, at the hinge side bolt with heavy coach bolts a couple of pieces of angle iron that just sit proud of the inside of the door frame, and when the door is closed it prevents the door being levered outwards, yet will not protrude too far to cause obstruction or damage or injury when the door is fully open just 2 or 3 inch will do it and add security for little work or money.
