She came home today.
Initial impressions:
I am 6'1 with a 32" inseam. I can flat-foot at lights. Odd sensation after being on tippy toes or a single foot down with my 701 Enduro and 1190 Adventure R.
Power feels great and there is a good sound from the intake. 6th gear can be ridden down to 35mph with no stuttering or lurching and it accelerates nicely without downshifting.
It handles like a supermoto. Super stable but very confidence inspiring through the turns. Very light input needed to flick into a turn.
The transmission is as smooth as can be. Very positive action but light and slick. My quickshifter is backordered...can't wait to try full throttle upshifts.
In other words...It's a giggle machine.
I haven't taken it off road yet, or really played around with the different ride modes yet.
I typically am a set it and forget it rider, though. I set the "Individual" mode with the most aggressive throttle setting and minimal intervention from ABS and traction control..
