What's new

Curves, curves and curves. Show us your favorite curves.

Well, there's Superhawks and there's Super Hawks! C'mon, you know better, right? :rofl

A friend had the original back in the 80s. Due to that I learned that it has a pretty cool motor (as you may know). Valves with variable timing; engine as stressed member. I'd like to have one today. :-)

Cast iron oversize full floaters...made a big difference. Friend of mine still has the bike.
Ahh, now I see the caliper adapters. First time I've seen 'em. Are they 'bespoke'? (Hey, I get to use that word for good purpose!)

LOL...love bespoke... ;)

No, Brake Tech used to sell a "kit" not sure they still do. Full floating oversize cast iron rotors, the caliper adapters and Ferodo pads, made a big difference in power and feel. Good folks to deal with as well. https://braketech.com

Bummer. I was hoping to ride it this year. I hope they open it back up.
Latest estimate for reopening is now the end of May.
I've been to both ends recently, once with the dogs on the 19/74 side, and with the Triumph on the Queens Creek Lake side.

My favorite road is New Hampshire 153, 50 curvy miles North/South from Farmington up to Conway. Speed limits are mostly low and there are 3? Police stations along the way, but there are plenty of stretches where you can go through the gears.
