It's actually called a TH. It's a UH-1H fusalage with the nose section, tailboom, transmission and rotors from a UH-1N model grafted on to it. The Air Force helicopter pilots do their initial flight training on them. It's a very robust helicopter.WTF! Air Force flying H models now??? I question that.
These fascinated me as a kid watching them land at DCA's short crossing runway. they would turn off onto a taxiway in a seemingly impossibly short landing rollout. If you could even call it a roll out!A plane I was involved with the maintenance with for a few years. I took this picture when we were on the way to Antarctica for a few months.
Wonder what the B/N is of this F-4. Cool to see it in once piece, but I was lucky to get a Plane Tag of an F-4 and I'm those folks would love to get their hands on that plane! LoL
