Yeah, I'm not a fan of packing only mufflers. There needs to be some sort of mechanical baffle in there. Which there will be on the new one.Good Lord! Barely any packing and a straight thru tube. I bet that thing was singing!

Typo or price gauging maybe? The blue price looks correct to me.Was poking around last night for T7's.

Why such the steep price difference?
ya, no idea. I mean....do people want the black color THAT bad?Typo or price gauging maybe? The blue price looks correct to me.
No clue what it tops out at. If you were looking for a fast bike, the T7 was a bad choice for you.So, which one of you hooligans has tested top speed. Mine maxed at 110. I think the bags and gearing are not helping. Ditching the bags is probably worth 5mph. It has 1 up on the front sprocket, I didn't look at the tack but I'm pretty sure it was nowhere near readline. Stock gearing may make it a little faster but the lowered RPM's on the highway are nice. The trusty old KLR would go 102, so I was expecting more from this.
Cruising at 90 in Texas, mileage was under 30mpg. That acerbis tank is going to come in handy......

as of late, its really taking everything I have to not just drive down with the trailer and pick one up.
I know, but the DR650 is running just fine.Well get on it already!
Looks like they need a new web content person. Was poking around last night for T7's.

ah, never even thought of that. you're probably right.Looks like they need a new web content person.
10.5 is correct for the 7, i’m guessing the 16.2 is for the S10 and they use the wrong pic.
Q : Now that it is welded, will you still be able to get it off the bike ?New header versus stock header.
So I lost 4.1# there. Welded all the slip joints after I had it mounted up. Fuck leaks.
Took the easy route and threw the new muffler on with the old mid pipe and mounts.
Yes, it still has slip connections at the mid pipe just like stock. The runners slid into the collector, those got welded. There was a short tail piece from the collector to where the stock header ended, it got welded on. Now it's one piece just like the stock head pipe. You can see the slip joints in this pic.Q : Now that it is welded, will you still be able to get it off the bike ?
nice, PLS tell us more about the welding tables you have over at the Welding and Fabrication threadLost about 5-1/2" of width, looks like more, but that's what it measures out.
Current weight with hardware.
Previous weight with hardware.
So about a 2# reduction. And it's also much stronger with the short 10.9 hardware versus the extra long 8.8's that went through the spacers.
Thinking of an aluminum heatshield for the muffler, we'll see how that goes.
