What's new

What did you do in your garage today?

Not familiar with Bertha, but it looks like a handlebar hole in your painting curtain over the window opening... :-)
Ha nope! Pre existing hole. If I knocked the bike over into heridbe pissed. Last year if gargetime has been blocking that thing.... 73 international travelall

More trailer work. Had to rework the fenders as the old wheels had the wrong offset and the new trailer spec wheels had them sticking out. I ended up moving them out exactly 2" on each side.

These fenders were 72" length which is 6" longer than needed for the wheel size it has.

A set of 66" fenders were a bit over $200, so I just made these ones tighter by pie cutting the radius and tucking in the ends.

I am making the fenders bolt on/removeable if necessary for whatever I'm loading on there.

The mounts also function as a small side step and light mounts. Hoping these cheapo rock lights work decently as reverse lights, if not I'll throw some pod lights on it

This is how much the ends are tucked in on the fenders

Making them match

I like having inner fenders to keep crap off the trailer deck. Didn't have a long enough piece of steel on hand so had to piece it together.

VFR games.
PO did bad things with chain lube. That mess is cleaned up now.

Next up RM regulator before the stock one melts the bike. Air cleaner, oil change, etc. Probably flush all the brakes and clutch.

I voted with my friends wallet for the A&A SC kit, got vetoed. His loss, boost is really fun stuff.

I put a DRZ400 front end onto a wrecked daytona 675, when you can't find a tiger 900 for sale you make your own with spares :ricky

Replaced the right low beam headlight for the first time on the Goldwing. It blew yesterday morning leaving Alpine, TX. Bike had roughly 77.5K on it when it blew.
